Your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) can be found on most cars by opening the driver side door. The label will be found in the opening of the door. This label contains the information that we will need to identify your vehicle and complete your repairs.
We need your vehicle’s mileage. Please make sure that the display on your odometer is the actual mileage and not a “trip” reading.
Take an image from each corner of your vehicle (should total 4 images). These images should show “3 corners” of your vehicle for each shot. This will help us with understanding the physics of the impact along with what disassembly is required to complete your body and paint repairs.Note: Make sure that the entire vehicle is visible in each shot from top to bottom, as in the examples.
Take a photo of the damaged panel so that the entire panel is visible. In our example, it’s a tailgate.Note: You can see the entire panel from end to end, top to bottom. This image should be “head on” and should show the whole panel (this is critical).
Now that you’ve taken an overall image of the damaged panel, you need to take a few images of the damage “close-up” and from multiple angles. It is best to shoot one “head on” and then from each side at an angle, as in the example. This will help to contextualize the damage and afford us a better understanding of the depth of the damage and the span it covers.Note: Please make sure that your photo is not so close that we can’t determine the context of where the damage is on the panel (this is critical).
